Communal tension in Alirajpur

INDORE: Section 144 has been imposed in Alirajpur following communal tension between two communities on Tuesday morning.
According to Alirajpur district magistrate Shekhar Verma, some miscreants attacked district BJP president Dashrath Verma’s son Sudhanshu resulting in tension between the two communities.
“Section 144 has been imposed as a preventive measure and necessary action is being taken following a complaint lodged by both sides,” said the district magistrate adding that appropriate force has been deployed and situation was under control.
The cops are investigating into the cause of attack on Sudhanshu by members of other community.
However, Verma added efforts are on to bring peace in Alirajpur be holding successive meetings of representatives from both the communities.
